School’s Tools and Six Senses Spa Ninh Van Bay team up to assist the Ninh Hoa Social House

26 07 2011

This year, School’s Tools opted to visit Vietnam and in conjunction with the SLOW Retail Project of Six Senses Spa Ninh Van Bay. Pauline Deacon Elliot, Co-Founder of Schools Tools and Christina Rieken, Spa Manager, and the entire Spa team visited and sponsored the children of Ninh Hoa Social House in Ninh Hoa, Vietnam on last June 16th, 2011.

Ninh Hoa Social House currently has 15 children from ages 6 to 14. All the children live in-house and the center aims to cover all their basic needs and schooling. The team brought food, toys, art materials, educational and recreational books. The sponsorhip for the high school education of the older children was also discussed for plan during their visit.

School’s Tools raises funds and awareness of art education for schools in the local districts of King Williams Town and East London. The School’s Tools project has been up and running since June 2003 and has already made a positive impact. Children and schools have benefited from materials and support, and the work continues to help bring a brighter future to a well deserving group of young people.

This visit is a meaningful contribution which will help parentless children to partly realize their dreams for better life and education.
