Frescobaldi Wine Dinner tonight at Dining on the Rocks

Chef_Simon_sssam_hrJoin a special Frescobaldi Wine Dinner on May 9 at the signature restaurant of Six Senses Samui, Dining on the Rocks.

Erika Ribaldi from Frescobaldi will be presenting their famous Italian wines paired with a delicious five-course dinner created by Dining on the Rocks’ Executive Sous Chef Simon Volante.

The menu includes:

Paprika Dusted Scallops
Fennel gel, pancetta crisp, squid ink emulsion, tomato, chive & olive oil dressing, bacon foam
Pomino Bianco 2012

Roast Pork Loin
Sweet potato gnocchi, black truffle, sage cream, shallot, pea puree, brown butter – balsamic emulsion
Campo AI Sassi 2011 Rosso di Montalcino DOC

Pan Seared Duck Breast
Pistachio risotto, black olive sand, candied lemon and apricot, parsley jus
Montesodi 2010 Chianti Rufina Riserva DOCG

Veal Loin “Open Ravioli”
Gorgonzola cheese, soft  polenta, garlic, artichoke, carrot & porcini’s, truffle sauce
Castel Giocondo 2007 Brunello di Montalcino DOCG

Saffron Pannacotta
Tarragon mascarpone mousse, basil coulis, ginger biscuit crumb bitter orange, chocolate ganache
Nipozzano Riserva 2009
