Six Senses Zil Pasyon Welcomes Resort Manager and Executive Chef

Bryce - rm highresBryce Seator joins Six Senses Zil Pasyon as resort manager, bringing 15 years of international hospitality. Bryce will oversee daily operations for the private island resort. Prior to moving to Seychelles, Bryce served as executive assistant manager of rooms at Six Senses Zighy Bay.

Bryce spent more than two years at Six Senses Zighy Bay where he was in charge of the rooms division which included front office, housekeeping, experiences, spa, transportation and engineering. He also spent three months in Turkey at Six Senses Kaplankaya during the rebranding and reopening of the property.

Born and educated in New Zealand, Bryce relocated from his home country after completing his hospitality management studies at Pacific International Hotel Management School. Following university, he worked in Australia and Vietnam, building his career within rooms division and event sales with top-tier resorts.

Bryce is a dedicated and enthusiastic All Blacks rugby fan and enjoys cycling, running and traveling in his free time. His passion for scuba diving makes Six Senses Zil Payson a fitting new destination.

Christian - ex.chef highresThe management team has been strengthened further with the addition of Christian Pedersen as executive chef. In his new position, Christian has been tasked with maintaining the resort’s culinary standards and reputation, implementing the Eat With Six Senses program and encouraging creativity in the kitchen. Though a Danish national, Christian is no stranger to the Seychelles. He previously held the role of executive chef at Constance Lemuria resort on Praslin.

Before moving to the Seychelles, Christian worked in Dubai, Birmingham, Bermuda and Stockholm. Educated and trained in Denmark, Christian learned his trade at some of the finest restaurants in the Nordic region and under the guidance of renowned Danish chefs including Nikolai Kirk and Claus Meyer.

Christian’s specialty is a blend of Nordic and Creole cuisine, perfectly blending his native style with the local influence, resulting in an interesting mix of flavors and techniques. In his time off, he enjoys cooking for his wife and son and perfecting different international cuisines, including his wife’s native Filipino dishes. He is also an avid football fan, supporting the Danish national team and Everton Football Club.
